Ok, here`s a brief breakdown of shops/restaurants etc. which will feature on the layout. They are featured in numerical order based on my hand drawn map!!
The Railway Inn - Perhaps too boring? Co-op store NEXT Sweeney Todd Barbers (no name yet) - book shop Spud and Jags Fishing Tackle and Model Shop! - Don`t ask! Sira Drinks Plus - A once frequented off-licence in Coventry Montague Jeffrey - One of my favourite clothes shops in Northampton Burger Me - Fast food shop from Royston Vasey! (vacant) PINK PIG - A record shop based on 'savers' in Banbury Special Reserve - Computer and games shop ARGOS - It`s so easy! Mercia Sports - A sports shop! MOCCA - So far an untouched superquick model Co-operative Insurance Society Limited Budgens - Another so far untouched superquick model Mr.Flames The Greengrocer - Sorry, another League of Gentleman thing! Funky Junction - An awful clothes shop once based in Northampton. Junky Function? Woolworths ABC Cinema - Was once one in Northampton which closed many years ago, but building still exists. Midland Bank (vacant) Escapade - Based on a costume/joke shop we came across on our travels! An art gallery..... Shirley Accounting - Loosely based on my Accountant from Shirley, Solihull! (nothing yet) Snappy Tomato Pizza Favorite Chicken - But really not my favourite - honest! Whaley Chemist WATISDIS - A sweetshop, and seller of all manor of other things. Based on a shop once in Bailiff St, Northampton. BMX Bandits - A cycle shop Bojangles - A record shop A Bite to Eat - as the name suggests! Spastics Society - No 'scope' for anything else! Powertune - Brother-in-laws Auto-parts shop Soft Spot - A computer game shop, once in Daventry Geoffrey Creighton - Another much missed shop in Daventry Merretts - See above! Similar to WHSmiths Crown and Anchor - Unaltered Metcalfe kit, the name is special to us.... Shahi Indian Restaurant - Should be more of these!! Glib and Sib Solicitors - Old joke that no-one will ever get! Rick Shaw taxi company Nanford Guest house - There are some nice places in Oxford..... Fitzgerald Bar Barclays Bank Psycho`s Fish Bar - Barry Richardson eating chips in Northampton anyone? (nothing yet) H.Briss and son - Quality meats! What A Load of Cobblers - Shoe repairer? Paws For Thought - Pet Shop (vacant) Briefs Encounter - Lingerie shop (currently un-named) Video rental shop (vacant) Spinadisc - Record shops in (or were once) Rugby, Coventry and Northampton (vacant) Yippee-Ky-Aye - Not quite sure what this one will sell yet! Port Mahon - Great Irish pub that was once in Oxford Peggotty`s Coffee - Has been in Rugby for years! Somerfield (currently un-named bar) Cornholios Antiques (currently un-named genaral store) Vital Saloon - My local Hairdresser Pied Piper records - An old favourite from Wellingborough road Wayne Enterprises!
