This is a model of one of the class 82`s which were retained for ECS duties in and out of Euston in the 1980`s. The model is a modified Tri-ang class 81. The roof and equipment have been scratchbuilt, and bodyside grilles incorporated. Note the bogie sides, and the 'plated over' indicator boxes..... I am yet to add the unusual 'cab-shore' telephone arial which this locomotive aquired. These photos were taken during 2004, and the model has since been further improved with bufferbeam detailing etc.
